Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in Customer Management Outsourcing, has been selected to serve as a founding member of the Emerging Europe Alliance for Business Services, Innovation and Technology.
Announced at the Sourcing in Emerging Europe conference, in London on the 28th March, the alliance represents more than a dozen organisations supporting the social and economic development of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), to champion positive change and help shape future growth in the region.
In CEE, Convergys currently employees over 1,200 people across 6 locations in Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland and Romania, and this news follows the company’s recent announcement about expansions plan in Romania.
Becoming a member of this alliance further demonstrates Convergys’ confidence in the long-term sustainability of the CEE region – a region that brings together a rich talent pool of highly educated, multilingual resources, combined with an innovative and service orientated culture.
